CHANEL: A FRANK OCEAN EXPERIENCE (MUSICAL)
In the LGBTQ+ community, the B is usually underrepresented or absorbed by the G or the L. Bisexuality is a misunderstood section of the LGBTQ+ community: many believe it’s a phase or a step towards homosexuality. chanel is a play with music exploration of queer womanhood set in present day Los Angeles. Utilizing the discography of Frank Ocean (a famously bisexual artist), chanel sheds light on what it’s like to be bisexual in the 21st century.

VIDEO GAMES (ONE ACT PLAY)
This piece explores teen girlhood through the lenses of stoner culture and an art hoe tumblr phase. Breaking the typical 80s movie stereotypes of what being a teen girl means, Video Games shows how masculinity and femininity can be embodied in women. Female friendship is at the forefront, and the two best friends depicted navigate the challenges of having uterus with humor and warmth.
