CASTING

This film about a recent college grad turned Bar Mitzvah party host premiered at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival. Written, directed, and starring Cooper Raiff, Cha Cha Real Smooth was filmed in Pittsburgh during the summer of 2021.

During my time at Nancy Mosser Casting, I was able to sharpen my skills through casting both supporting and background roles. Using this knowledge, I was able to cast a role in the movie by having a recent Carnegie Mellon graduate, Amara Pedroso Saquel, audition. She booked her first feature film role in this piece, and I am happy to say I had a hand in making that happen.
